Horrible cant get a service technician scheduled through customer service in India. Called 8/15/24 was told Id get a response in 3-5 business days needless to say as of the 28th no response and now Im supposed to call back Monday 09/02/24 to start a replacement/ refund process which I was told could take u to 2-3 weeks. Note these are business days which could possibly put me without a refrigerator for will over a mouth. This is the worst experience ever. Ive emailed the CEO through their website only to receive a generic non responsive reply. Very Very upset.

Dont waste your money on an LG refrigerator. I bought a brand new fridge and within one year the compressor went out. LG did come and fix it at no cost however we are now just over the 5 year mark and the compressor has gone out again. I scheduled service for a Thursday with LG which they make you prepay over $500.00 for. The technician was at my house for literally 21 minutes. He replaced the compressor and said to give it 8-12 hours to cool the fridge. I got up the next morning which was Friday and the fridge temp was 75 even though it was set at 34. I called the service company and was told that he ran diagnostics after the service and nothing showed up. I also asked them to come back out to get it working again and they cannot come till the following Tuesday. Thats an additional 5 days without a refrigerator. This has not been a pleasant experience and Ive got 2 more days before they come back. LG has known about these compressor issues for years and there are multiple lawsuits as a result yet still they use the same compressor in their product.

This is a good looking fridge with some nice features but also many faults. The opening for water and ice in the door us too low to fit most common water bottles. The compressor died after 5 years and even LG charged $450 fixed fee to come out to check what was wrong and replace the faulty compressor that was supposedly warrantied for 10 years. The double door is a nice feature but does no stay as cold as the fridge. The deep doors cannot be fully opened if the fridge is placed next to a counter with a countertop. LG customer service is very poor. They shipped the wrong part four times and refused to ship the correct part so we had to return and exchange the fridge. I will not buy another LG fridge.

HORRIBLE FRIDGE COSTLY REPAIRS
The compressor went out just after 5 years. There is even a class action lawsuit because LG fridge compressors keep going out on everyone all over the world who has bought one.
The right door where you knock 2 times to turn the light off and on now just comes on and goes off all the time without knocking on the door.

Bought this for ny new home. It has been running like a charm for 4 years. Many many people gave compliments when they saw it. Very convenient with cooling drink open door for easy resching. Beautiful design. Something went wrong just 2 weeks ago but LG sent technician out to fix it without any problem. Highly recommend

3 year old and the compressor failed. LG helped me but the point is it should not of failed. Lost all the food. The door button is very cheap plastic and scared immediately. Think they helped since the failure rate on these is exceptionally high. Love the ice maker. Never got the WiFi to work. Love the 3rd door.

We bought this a couple years ago because LG was a trusted brand. We are not that thrilled wirh the quality of the unit. I have had multiple times where the freezer thaws out and ruins food water collects under the deli drawer due to freeze ups and when I called tech support to help us clean a drawer where gunk had gotten into somewhere difficult to clean the answer was to buy a new drawer. Meh.

We bought this fridge from Spencers Appliances in Arizona for our new house and after 3-1/2 years it quit on us. MENMAX APPLIANCE REPAIR had to replace the compressor condeser coil and both upper and lower cooling coils . Never buy LG again . MENMAX saved the day with their excellent repair service.
