We love the fridge. Until the compressor went out on it. We had a repair man come out and tell us the compressor was going out. We contacted LG and their repair replaced the compressor. The LG repair was rude suggesting we had something to do with the compressor going bad. Not nice and and he was condescending.

I love the product the French doors that light up

I bought this refrigerator 3 years ago and the control panel went bad. I feel that the refrigerator and its components should last longer then 3 years. I am lucky that I purchased the warranty or I may have not been able to afford repairs. The product is great when it is working. This is the first issue I have had but the longevity of the product I brought makes me worry. The gentlemen who came to repair equipment was excellent.

Disappointment

Second time Ive owned an LG refrigerator and tried to duplicate the one I had. The new one does not have the third shelf in the freezer which is a disappointment. Door shelves are not movable and butter compartment has no door. Also had to have the gasket replaced in less than one year with a service call expense. Probably Would not buy again and took out a extended warranty to be on the safe side

Beautiful Refrigerator

The counter depth refrigerator is nice looking and actually very spacious. However there are a few issues: frost buildup on the top drawer in the freezer. And we still cant get water or ice that tests clear/clean of minerals etc. The water/ice in the door was one of the main reasons we went with this model. Ill be calling LG tomorrow to discuss these issues as they are not addressed in the product manual that came with the refrigerator.
